Arrosta Coffee Roasting Co. was born in 2005 in a garage. Our founders Simon and Kirsty channeled their passion for the specialty coffee industry they soon left their day jobs and went full time into running their small biz. Their main goal, to bring quality and accessible specialty coffee to the New Zealand coffee scene.
After ten years of growing the wholesale distribution and retail sides of the business, they invested in traditional roasting equipment and went about teaching themselves to roast. Today, Arrosta Coffee Roasting Co. operates from three sites across Palmerston North and is run by a team of 14 that really love coffee. We now serve customers face to face and online all over New Zealand, Australia and into the United States with a focus on sustainability and building capability within our team and customers.
Our main focus - to share our love of coffee and have rich and meaningful conversations. Our focus is on generating financial, social and environmental value for all stakeholders, and the community and environment we live in. Arrosta Coffee's place in the market is underpinned by working toward the achievement of Sustainable Business Goals and ensuring our business is used for good.
We love educating our community about coffee, its origins and the path it follows from farm to cup. Coffee brings people together and creates relationships and we are thrilled to be a part of the forever changing, socially aware and diverse specialty coffee industry.
